A social media influencer was left terrified after falling victim to an overnight armed robbery at a home in Hollywood Hills, California, with $1 million stolen. 

The LAPD were called at 3 a.m. Wednesday from a home believed to be used as an Airbnb, Fox LA reported, adding that one of the victims was identified as Nour Atta.

Atta, 20, is a trade investor who has more than 272,000 Instagram followers for his @nourtrades account.

LAPD investigators were told the victims were woken up by at least two suspects in ski masks who had managed to enter into the multi-million-dollar house, according to the publication.

Authorities said the suspects went on to ransack the home and stole an estimated $1 million in jewelry before they left the scene.

Atta told Fox LA the suspects likely gained entry because he had left the back door open.

He believes he was targeted by the suspects.

Atta said: ‘I didn’t hear a lot, I just heard yelling. A bunch of “get up, get up” this, that.

‘I’m sure a lot of people know me online, it’s very easy to find me out and that’s just what’s going on out here, especially in LA.’

When first responders arrived, he and a friend were seen by medical personnel and did not require hospitalization, Fox LA reported.

Police are continuing to investigate the robbery and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Atta runs the Stock Hours signals chat, where he posts trade ideas each morning and hosts lessons. He also shares trade tips with his 65,000 followers on TikTok. 

He helped hundreds of students across the US to generate millions of dollars in profits in 2021. 

Homicides in Los Angeles reached 397 in 2021, the most in more than a decade and a 50% jump from 2019, according to the LA Times.

LAPD Chief Michel Moore told the civilian Police Commission in March that robberies involving firearms had increased 57% from 2020 and 60% from 2019.
