Skye Wheatley has claimed she looked like the ‘Angry Bird emoji’ while she recovered from her fox eye lift.
The social media star, 30, took to Instagram on Tuesday and in a series of videos shared the reason she took so long to unveil her new face.
The I’m A Celebrity 2024 winner said that after returning from Turkey, where she had the procedure, she is still surprised by her new face.
‘I wake up in the mornings and I’m like “oh my God, you look like an alien.” I look like the Angry Bird emoji, my face is always changing. Some days its more swollen than others,’ said the Big Brother star.
‘Now it’s starting to look normal, I can post. Hopefully you guys will trust the process and it will change even more than this,’ she added.
Skye claimed she was ‘scared to post’ earlier because she knew people would say things such as ‘you look disgusting.’
‘I did…look so bad. When I first took my tapes off I was like…’ Skye said as she covered her mouth in shock.
‘Oh my God, it’s actually Stifler’s mum. Yep, that’s what we look like,’ she said, referring to the character played by Jennifer Coolidge in the raunchy teen comedy American Pie from 1999.

Skye also expressed her gratitude that she could ‘finally do eye liner’ on her eyes again, after complaining that her eyelids were drooping because of aging.
The social media star also promised she would release a YouTube video and several TikToks that would cover her time in Turkey pre and post-surgery.
It comes just days after Skye revealed her fresh new face after undergoing the ‘controversial’ fox eye life surgery.
Taking to TikTok on Saturday, the Influencer shared a short clip that showed her hamming it up to the track In Brooke We Trust by me n ü.

In the first half of the clip, Skye is dressed quite demurely in a plain white T-shirt and a large red scrunchie holding her hair back which was tied up in a tight bun.
The results of her eye surgery were still disguised behind a pair of black-framed specs.
The clip then cut to Skye 2.0 with the results of her surgery clearly visible with her eyes now boasting a definite almond shape.
The I’m A Celeb star appeared chuffed with her new look, offering a sassy smile to the camera as she sashayed to the music.
She also flaunted an ample amount of cleavage thanks for a white corset top she wore underneath a beige coat.

Skye explained that while she’s healing, it will take a minimum of three months for her face to settle, and she expects gradual changes during that time. Pictured before the surgery
Fans were quick to compliment Skye on her new look with one exclaiming: ‘Fox eyes are a vibe! I love.’
Another suggested that Skye now bears a resemblance to one particular US model.
‘It’s giving Bella Hadid slay,’ they wrote.
One gal pal of Skye’s summed up the sentiment, gushing over her beauty.
‘You are so god dam beautiful and down to earth in person. I had the best night with you last night bestie,’ they wrote.
Another fan asked if her eyes would ‘go down’ over time and Skye took the time to reply.
‘Yes, I’m only three weeks post op haha it’s super fresh, so extra snatched’ Skye wrote in response.
Earlier this week, Skye revealed why she had decided to keep her face under wraps and not yet fully reveal her face post-surgery.
The Big Brother star recently returned from Turkey where she underwent the fox eye lift as well as liposuction, a temporal lift and a blepharoplasty.
The fox eye lift surgery, designed to mimic the red carpet look of the same name, has pulled back the outer corner of her eyes to have the almond shape usually achieved with dramatic eye make-up.
Results from the minimally invasive surgery are said to last for between six and 12 months.
