An influencer has revealed she was branded ‘spoiled’ and ‘shallow’ after posting a haul and claiming ‘every single girl’ has a Louis Vuitton wallet.
Darcy Mcqueeny, 21, from Chicago, excitedly took to TikTok to share her new Louis Vuitton wallet her parents bought her for her 21st birthday, however, the University of Alabama student was quickly met with ‘hate comments’ slamming her for her privileged lifestyle.
Darcy shared her birthday haul video, which racked up over 3.2 million views, to her over 500,000 followers and added her parents bought her the nearly $500 wallet as an ‘early birthday gift.’

The 21-year-old told her viewers she had her eye on the $475 matte black LV key pouch since she first saw it in the store a few months ago and became ‘obsessed.’
She then showed viewers her current wallet, the Louis Vuitton classic monogram key pouch, which sells for $325, which she said ‘every single girl has.’
Darcy compared her ‘old’ luxurious wallet to the nearly $500 wallet her parents bought her and threw her current wallet out of frame before adding that ‘everyone has it.’
And while many others are struggling to put food on the table, especially with inflation hitting an all time high of 9.1 per cent, Darcy had no problem revealing to her followers she wanted the wallet to match the new Range Rover she was planning on buying.
Despite Darcy’s luxurious lifestyle, many around the country are facing the consequences of inflation, brought on in part by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prices of common goods have soared throughout the country, leaving many wondering how they’ll afford their next meal.

In response to trolls who claimed the influencer was spoiled, Darcy posted three more videos where she called them ‘losers’
The prices of meat and poultry has gone up by 10.4 per cent, cereal, up 15.1 per cent, and fruits and vegetables, up 8.1 per cent.
Gas prices are another point of pressure for many people around the country, up nearly 60 per cent over the past year, with the cost of air fares up more than 34 per cent and price of used cars up more than 7 per cent.
Apparel costs are up by 5.2 per cent, overall shelter costs went up 5.5 per cent, and delivery services have gone up 14.4 per cent.
However inflation doesn’t seem to be a problem for the University of Alabama student, who is known for her luxurious hauls, including designer bags from Chanel, Gucci, Dior and other Louis Vuitton items.
Most of Darcy’s photos and videos include the 21-year-old showing off her expensive items, such as the Louis Vuitton Alma BB, which retails for $1,710, the black Louis Vuitton New Wave Pochette, which sells for $2,7109, and the ivory Louis Vuitton New Wave Chain Bag, which retails for $2,980, paying no mind to those who brand her as ‘shallow.’
In response to trolls who claimed the influencer was out of touch with reality, Darcy posted three videos responding to hate comments.
Many users called the 21-year-old ‘spoiled,’ ‘shallow,’ and added that many weren’t as fortunate to boast their luxurious lifestyles on social media.
However the ‘hate comments’ didn’t seem to get to her, the 21-year-old even took the comments as a chance to call out the trolls as ‘losers’.

Despite her carefree attitude TikTok users made sure to make it clear the influencer knew her post was directed at one specific group of people – ‘rich’ people.

‘Very out of touch with reality haha,’ commented another user.
One user said: ”Every girl has one” burh my parents don’t have that type of money.’
