Influencer’s major Photoshop fail as she edits herself in front of the Eiffel Tower

A glamorous Instagram influencer has been left red-faced after notorious Australian ‘snark’ account Celeb Spellcheck exposed a bizarre editing fail in one of her recent posts.

Jess Hunt, a British model who boasts 1.M Instagram followers, raised eyebrows on Monday after she shared a video and photos of herself modelling a skimpy dress on the Pont d’Iéna – a bridge that leads to the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Jess appeared to be strutting down the middle of the busy road as the Eiffel Tower twinkled in the background, but eagle-eyed users, including Celeb Spellcheck, quickly noticed several telling clues she’d actually superimposed her body in front of the iconic scene.

‘One of my fave cities,’ Hunt wrote in her caption, adding three twinkling emojis.

Poking fun at the obvious editing fail, Celeb Spellcheck re-shared Jess’ post along with the caption: ‘Virtual tourist’.

Celeb Spellcheck’s followers were quick to roast the influencer for her faux pas, with one commenting: ‘I too travel with Photoshop’.

Others pointed out the embarrassing mistakes in Hunt’s post, with several claiming the lack of shadows made it look like she was in front of a green screen.

‘She’s literally got no shadow anywhere,’ one user wrote, while another added: ‘Her feet are floating.’

Others noticed that Jess’ body appeared unnaturally crisp in the footage and that her feet seemed out of proportion compared to the lines on the road.

‘The scale of her foot against the lane print [laughing emoji]’, one wrote.

Some fans also noted that Jess’ calm demeanour was a dead giveaway, given the acute risk she could have been hit by a car mid-strut.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Jess for comment.

Ironically, Jess once made headlines after she complained about being embroiled in a ‘catfishing’ scandal.

Posting to Twitter in 2017, Jess revealed she’d found a glamorous image of herself modelling a green dress had been altered to show someone else’s face on her body.

Reposing the image, Jess wrote: ‘OH MY GOD, that is my body and my house but who’s face is that? Catfish game is getting silly.’

Despite being horrified that her image had been stolen, Hunt admired the seamless Photoshopping at work, saying her image was ‘like art’.

Catfishing normally refers to stealing an entire image, often to try and attract online dates by pretending to be someone who a person might deem more physically attractive.

In this instance, though, it was just Jessica’s body that was used. The model had originally posed in the sparkly green frock five week ago, striding up and down in her kitchen in a video on Instagram.

Some were perhaps a little cynical however, with one user suggesting that the image, which has been re-posted by the company that designed her dress, might be enjoying their moment in the spotlight.

‘Gorgeous dress, Perfect PR’, the user wrote.
