Caitlin Clark sent fellow basketball star Tyrese Haliburton wild after knocking down a long-range 3-pointer to end the third quarter of Saturday’s WNBA showpiece game against the New York Liberty.

Clark’s perimeter swish put the Indiana Fever up eight points, capping a comeback after being down as many as 12 during the first half.

Haliburton was in New York City on Friday night, helping the Pacers take a 2-0 series lead over the Knicks, with both Eastern Conference Finals victories coming at Madison Square Garden.

Haliburton was one of the integral figures of the first two games of the series, including hitting a game-tying shot on Wednesday night at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime.

Clark had the eyes of the basketball world on her Saturday afternoon as the Fever played the defending WNBA champions, who brought their star-studded roster that includes Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, and Breanna Stewart to Indianapolis.

The defending champions proved hard to keep down, as they re-took the lead in the middle of the final frame and hung on for the 90-88 victory.

On the final play of the game, Clark received the ball at the top of the key. When driving to the hoop and attempting to put up a game-tying shot, she was stripped by Natasha Cloud, ending the game.

Clark believed there to be a foul on the play, as there was contact when she went up in the air for the shot. The referees deemed any contact to be legal.

More to come.
