Alan Jones has a slew of luxury properties around New South Wales and Queensland, ranging from a Quayside apartment to a farm in the Southern Highlands. 

And it looks like the former 2GB radio host, 80, is expanding his portfolio, amid reports he recently splashed $12.25million on a sprawling mansion in Southport, on the Gold Coast. 

According to The Daily Telegraph on Sunday, the radio veteran snapped up the property owned by couple Brett and Rebecca Frizelle back in November 2021.

Paperwork shows that Jones’ niece Tonia Taylor and her husband, tennis coach Justin Taylor, hold 12 percent of the acquisition.

The Frizelles purchased the five bedroom and six bathroom home in 2013 for $4.2million and then spent two years renovating the property.

The home is one of eleven tightly-held exclusive riverfront homes located within the coveted Southport School and (TSS) precinct.
