George and Joanna Burgess and their three children bid farewell to Australia last week, after the rugby league star signed a three-year deal with Wigan Warriors.

And no sooner had the family embarked on their new adventure to England, their luxurious apartment in Sydney’s Randwick was snapped up for a cool $3million.

The sensational home – which features panoramic beach views, a huge outdoor pool and tons of natural light – was listed on realestate.co.au, and unsurprisingly sold days after the family moved abroad.
