The confirmed their romance when they spotted looking ‘very cosy’ on a night out at late night venue Bobby’s Bar in Newcastle.
They could be seen sat close together with Katie flashing her very ample assets in a plunging leather catsuit.
One onlooker told The Mirror at the time: ‘He came in after her and they sat together for at least an hour’.
‘They looked very cosy together, especially when she rested her arm on his shoulder.’
Katie was then said to have sparked a new feud with JJ’s ex and Married At First Sight star Ella Morgan.
After pictures emerged of the pair Ella, 29, who is transgender, was said to be furious and ‘betrayed’ after having become good friends with Katie.

Shortly after being spotted together Katie officially confirmed the romance and took to Instagram with a gushing post.

JJ sweetly responded in the comment section: ‘Fate… thank you so much for being you’.
Katie also reportedly introduced her man to some of her children as the couple’s romance heated up.
A source said: ‘Katie’s already introduced JJ to her youngest kids. It’s so important to her that he gets along with them as they’re a huge part of her life.
‘They’ve been talking for a while but it seems like it’s already getting serious.’

In April JJ Slater finally spoken for the first time about his and Katie’s romance and revealed they were already talking about marriage.
After she reached out to him in December to send her well wishes following his diabetes diagnosis, the pair met for a lowkey coffee, and the attraction between them was instant.
JJ, who found fame on the E4 series last year, said he wished it could have been Katie waiting for him at the end of the altar, as he admits to falling head over heels for the former glamour model.
He even confesses to messaging Katie years ago in a bid to strike up a romance, but he was ignored until he caught the TV star’s eye when she watched on the Channel 4 show.

Judge Schaffer discharged the arrest warrant issued against her on July 30 by a different judge after she failed to attend a previous hearing.
The warrant was originally issued by a judge after she failed to attend a hearing relating to her enormous £760,000 debt.
Katie previously said she was ‘not running from matters’, but was ‘away working for a documentary on corrective surgeries’ during the court hearing.
