Inside MAFS star Stacey Hampton’s incredibly lavish life after she loses case against Australian Federal Police over search warrants linked to her X-rated adult content

Stacey Hampton still appears to be living in the lap of luxury after losing her case against the Australian Federal Police over a raid at her Adelaide home amid allegations did not declare income she received from work on OnlyFans

The former reality TV star argued the raid was ‘invalid’ because it didn’t adequately specify the allegation of wrongdoing.

Last month Stacey lost her battle with the AFP and she now faces a huge legal bill.

But the adult star doesn’t appear to be strapped for cash.

Stacey, who is the ex of Rebels bikie boss Shane Smith, frequently gives her fans an insight into her very luxurious lifestyle on her social media pages.

The law and nursing graduate also earns money through adult subscription service OnlyFans, where people can pay $9.99 per month to sign up to her exclusive content.

Stacey, who hails from Adelaide, has proved herself to be quite the jet-setter as she frequently travels all around the globe, visiting some very luxurious hotels.

She once stayed at the high-class Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai, which can cost around $1,570 per night during the peak season.

Following her recent court battle, Stacey enjoyed a trip to Tokyo to celebrate her 31st birthday, stopping off in Singapore on the way to the Japanese capital.

She also frequently shares snaps to her Instagram of lavish cars, and shows off her luxury wardrobe, which includes Fendi boots and Chanel handbags.

Stacey also gives fans an insight into her family life with her sons Kosta and Kruz, who she shares with her ex Mr Smith, who died in a motorcycle crash in Adelaide in September 2022.

She often shares adorable photographs of herself spending time and doting over her two sons as she documents her day-to-day life on Instagram.

Last October, she shared a video of her two young sons gifting her with an expensive pink Chanel designer handbag for her 30th birthday.

Stacey dated Rebels boss Mr Smith from the age of 19 until their split in July 2017, just years before his tragic death in September 2022.

Last month, she lost her case against the AFP over an early-morning raid on her home on the allegation she may not have declared income she received from work on OnlyFans.

However, she argued that the search warrant was ‘invalid’ and an ‘abuse of power’ because it did not adequately specify the allegation of wrongdoing underpinning it.

She faced The Federal Court in Adelaide but was told she had lost her battle with the AFP and Services Australia and had to pay their court costs, The Daily Telegraph reported.

She now faces a huge legal bill of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

‘Today wasn’t the outcome I anticipated, however I will always stand up for what’s right,’ she shared at the time.

‘At the end of the day this was to show the little guy that you have a voice, use it, be proud and believe in yourself.

‘Unfortunately this is how the system works but never give up hope, let your light keep shining. Fight for what you believe in, the truth.

‘This was a proud moment for me. I have grown so much in the last 12 months and came out stronger and wiser.’

The Federal Court heard in August that Stacey may not have declared her true income over an 18-month period and Services Australia held concerns she may have improperly received carer payments.

But Stacey, who appeared in court and was representing herself during a civil judicial review application, said the search warrant was ‘invalid’ and an ‘abuse of power’ because it did not adequately specify the allegation of wrongdoing underpinning it.

‘It (the warrant) is too broad,’ she said. ‘There are too many types of incomes.’

Stacey also objected to an interview with a Services Australia officer that took place during the search, telling the court it wouldn’t have happened without what she argued was an invalid warrant.

‘They had to exercise it through the channel of the search warrants,’ she said. ‘It wasn’t hand delivered at the door.

‘They were using the search warrant to conduct that interview.’

Justice Stephen McDonald said the case would hang on whether the ‘face of the warrants’ met the legal standard outlined by the High Court.

Paul d’Assumpcao, counsel for the AFP and Services Australia, argued the terms of the warrant were ‘well within the threshold of what is acceptable by the courts’.

He disputed her characterisation the stated allegation on the warrant was not sufficient and said the warrant provided more information that what was required by the Criminal Code.

He also argued the courts had recognised the need to provide investigative agencies like the AFP with ‘sufficient flexibility’ in how they investigated alleged criminal offences.

‘Balance has to be struck at some point,’ he said.

‘At what level do we cross the line and say that (the information provided on a warrant) is good enough?’

Justice McDonald said a warrant did not need to offer the particularity of an indictment and the complexity of the case arose in ‘how to draw the line’ in what was required on a warrant.

Stacey was not charged with any crimes and there is no accusation of any wrongdoing on her part.

Justice McDonald said he would ‘reserve his decision’ and deliver it at a later date.

Speaking with NewsWire earlier this year, Stacey said she would pursue damages against the government if she won her case.

‘I haven’t been arrested and nothing has come from this,’ she said.

‘But to me, it’s the principle, the fact they came to my house for no reason, as an admitted lawyer, at 6am, with my two children who had lost their father, and traumatised us.

‘What’s that done to my mental health, my children’s health, also my work, being able to work?’

Stacey is best known for her stint on Married At First Sight’s seventh series in 2020, where she was matched up with Michael Goonan, but they split in the season finale after both being accused of cheating.

Alongside her nursing work, Stacey has also carved out a career for herself as a content creator and boasts more than 205,000 Instagram followers.
