Intensely private Lara Worthington shares very rare video of her son River, four, as they visit local park

She is very guarded when it comes to revealing details about her personal life.

But Lara Bingle gave a very rare insight into her family life on Monday as she visited a local park with her youngest son River.

The model, 37, shared a video to Instagram of her four-year-old son playing with her hair while she lay on the grass.

‘It’s in my eyes,’ she told River, who apologised to his mum before moving her locks off her face.

‘Thank you,’ Lara said before her son, whose face was notably cut out of the frame responded: ‘There, it’s all done.’

‘Beautiful,’ she added before the young boy walked away.

Lara and her husband Sam Worthington have three sons, but kept the pregnancies and even the children’s names private for some time.

The notoriously private couple welcomed their son River in a shroud of secrecy, with estimates that his birth happened somewhere between March and June in 2020.

They likewise kept the births of their older two boys, Rocket, seven, and Racer, five, secret and now shield their brood from the public eye.

Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 and married secretly in 2014.

Lara previously told The Daily Telegraph that the couple  are enjoying growing old together.

‘As a family unit, we’re all very close. We’ve only got each other. Sam and I are a good team. We’re both Australians and we have the same values. We come at our children as a team and I think that’s really important,’ she said.

Lara went on to say that she and her family are ‘all very close’ and that she isn’t too strict a parent.

‘They always make me feel so good, especially Sam. I don’t want that to ever go; I hope it doesn’t,’ she said.

‘But being able to be a mum and [to] work definitely stems from your partner. Sam and I are on the same page, so I feel like he’s ‘got me’ when I’m working and vice versa.’
