Inter Milan have named three goalkeepers in their match-day 18 to play Tottenham on Tuesday night because they are short of players.

A UEFA punishment for FFP indiscretions limited them to 22 players in the Champions League squad, plus they cannot meet the quota of home-grown players and they have a couple of injuries.

Luciano Spalletti only has 18 senior players available and two of them are goalkeepers.

Samir Handanovic is starting in between the posts for the opening Group B match of the Champions League campaign.

Spalletti has also named Tommaso Berni and Daniele Padelli among the substitutes.

Inter have won just one of their first four matches in Serie A and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will also be looking to regather momentum having lost 2-1 at Wembley against Liverpool on Saturday.
