Kanye West has appeared to draft a group of Inter Milan ultras in to provide the backing vocals to two songs on his and Ty Dolla $ign’s new album, ‘Vultures Volume 1’.

The album was released globally on February 9th, and features 16 tracks – two of which contain backing vocals which were reportedly made by fans of the Serie A club.

According to CalcioMercato, the fan group Curva Nord Milano, were given credits on the songs ‘Stars’ and ‘Carnival’ after producers Federico Secondome and ZLYAH had organised the group to provide chants and backing vocals for the songs.

A video posted online reportedly claims to show several members of a choir singing the backing vocals to ‘Carnival’ inside a recording studio, implying that the individuals in the clip were part of the Inter Milan ultras group.

The album is the fruit of the combined efforts of Kanye West, also known as Ye, and Ty Dolla $ign, with two more albums set to follow.

The Curva Nord are one of the club’s most boisterous fan groups and have in the past been a key part in building an atmosphere for their side at the San Siro, displaying banners and tifos around the iconic stadium.

Their support has helped Simone Inzaghi’s sid climb to the top of the Serie A table this season, with the Nerazzuri winning their last five matches to take a seven-point lead on Juventus in second place.

Inter are also unbeaten in 17 league matches and will be looking to extend their excellent run of form against Salernitana on Friday night.

The ultras will feature on the album alongside several other well-known figures from the music industry, including Lil Durk, Bump J, Freddie Gibbs, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Quavo.

It will be the first time West has dropped a new album since Jesus Is King was released in 2019.

But there has been some controversy around the new record’s release, with Rolling Stone reporting that the distributor for the album is looking to remove it from streaming services.

‘Vultures 1’ was reportedly released despite it’s distributor having stated that it did not want to work with West.

West’s livestream of the new album was also controversially cut off last week after he had rapped about his anti-semitism.

The album comes after reports alleged that Taylor Swift had the American rapper ‘removed’ from the stadium at last-week’s Super Bowl.

It was claimed that Swift ‘made a call’ to have Kanye booted from the Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium after he had intentionally bought seats in front of hers.
