On Wednesday, some celebrities earnestly celebrated ‘National Boyfriend Day’, uploading loved-up snaps to social media featuring their beaus.
But Iris Apatow, the 14-year-old daughter of director Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann, doesn’t have a boyfriend — so she posted the next best thing. Or better, depending on who you ask.
The funny teen, who stars in the Netflix series Love, edited her face into several pictures with her celebrity crushes.
Funny genes: Iris Apatow is the daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann
Adorable: The 14-year-old appeared in the movie Knocked Up alongside her mother when she was four (second from left)
For the laughs: For National Boyfriend Day, Iris edited her face into photos with her different celebrity crushes, like Riverdale star Cole Sprouse
True love? She ensured it was very obvious to all that the images were edited and earned laughs from fans
Teens have certainly tried this trick before, but Iris seems to have inherited her parents’ comedic chops, and her sense of humor shined through in the pictures.
Instead of making a skilled attempt at inserting herself into a scene with a star, she purposefully did a low-effort job, slopping copying and pasting her head into four photos.
In one, she plopped her face into a frame with YouTuber Alex Ernst. Alex, 21, posts comedic clips on his channel OurPizzaGang.
Iris edited her face on top of the face of Alex’s cat, which is pictured sitting on his shoulder.
Meow! She even put her face on YouTuber Alex Ernst’s cat
All grown up: For this picture with Chris Hemsworth, she picked a funny snap of herself as a little girl
Cuties: She and her sister Maude, now 19, were standout stars in Knocked Up and This is 40
In another picture, she’s put her face on the body of Kelly Ripa, in a photo from her morning show. In the snap, Thor star Chris Hemsworth has his arm around her.
Funnier still, Iris didn’t even try to look grown up and mature next to the 34-year-old actor — she picked a photo of herself from when she was a little kid, with most of her front teeth missing.
Her biggest celebrity crush, though, appears to be Riverdale star Cole Sprouse. She edited herself into two pictures with the actor.
Career choice: Iris (pictured in Knocked Up) has continued to act
Mini-me: Now 14, she is the spitting image of her mom Leslie
Busy: She is currently on the Netflix series Love
‘Happy national boyfriends day. Here’s some photoshopped pictures of me and my boyfriend,’ she captioned the post.
Iris has a history of making people laugh. She was just four when she appeared alongside her mom and sister Maude in Knocked Up, and reprised the role of little Charlotte in This is 40.
Her fans seem just as amused by her recent Instagram post, leaving comments like ‘Lmao you’re hilarious,’ ‘The third pic I’m dying,’ and ‘This brings me so much joy.’
Iris’ older sister Maude, who was also in Knocked Up, is 19 and currently attending Northwestern University.
