Is Bindi Irwin leaving Australia Zoo? Rumours swirl conservationist is stepping back to ‘prioritise herself’ and concentrate on her family

Bindi Irwin has sparked rumours she could be leaving Australia Zoo to focus on her husband Chandler Powell and their daughter Grace.

According to Woman’s Day, the conservationist, 25, could be taking a step back to ‘prioritise herself’.

Bindi is reportedly not sure she wants to take over the zoo one day with her brother Robert.

‘She’s not the type to give up on herself or her conservation work – but she’s starting to be disillusioned about taking over the zoo one day,’ an insider said.

‘The last two years have been an emotional rollercoaster and now Bindi wants to prioritise herself.’

The source claimed Bindi ‘feels guilty because she knows her dad loved the zoo’ but she also doesn’t want to ‘struggle’.

‘She’s given enough and she needs to focus on what gives her joy – Grace, Chandler and nature,’ they added.

It comes just a week after Bindi broke down in tears while discussing her 10-year battle with endometriosis.

The Wildlife Warrior appeared on Good Morning America in what was her first television interview speaking about her decade-long struggle with the disease.

Speaking to news anchor Eva Pilgrim, the star made some shock revelations — including a time she thought she was having a miscarriage while pregnant with daughter Grace Warrior.

‘It’s been a long journey. It’s been a long 10 years,’ she said through tears.

The Queensland zookeeper explained she underwent several tests for a diagnosis after experiencing ‘unexplainable pain, fatigue, cramping and nausea’ as early as her teenage years.

But at the time doctors were unable to find any reasons for her symptoms.

Bindi, who shares daughter Grace Warrior, one, with her husband Chandler Powell, revealed there were moments the pain was so unbearable that she thought she was going through a pregnancy loss.

‘Along my pregnancy journey. I would often have times where I thought I was miscarrying because I would have severe unexplained pain,’ she continued.

‘I would think that I was losing our beautiful daughter.’
