Isla Fisher has begged for the the return of hostages taken by Hamas terrorists during the worst attack on Israeli soil in decades.
Dozens of people, including the elderly, women and children, have been snatched and driven across the border into the Gaza Strip since Hamas launched its devastating attack over the weekend.
The Australian actress, who converted to Judaism before marrying British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in 2010, expressed her support for Israel via Instagram on Sunday by sharing photos of hostages Doron Asher, 34, and her two daughters, Raz, five, and Aviv, three.
Doron, Raz and Aviv were taken hostage by Hamas militia while they were visiting Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel, with footage of the abduction circulating on social media.
Written next to the images was a message from an Israeli woman who is thought to be a friend of Doron.

‘I am in horror at these barbaric acts and my heart is pounding with love and prayer for the families of all affected.’
The Hamas attack has sparked the worst violence in the region in decades, with Israel firing missiles into Gaza, demolishing buildings and tower blocks in retaliation.

Among the places targeted by Hamas was a peace festival in the desert, where they murdered dozens of people and kidnapped others.
Heartbreaking footage showed festival attendee Noa Argamani screaming ‘Don’t kill me! No, no, no’ as she was forced onto the back of a motorcycle by the Palestinian militants just metres away from her helpless boyfriend who was held at gunpoint.
Meanwhile the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) says it is fighting street-by-street in some southern towns in the country as it tries to force Hamas back.

However, its efforts are being complicated by the hostages Hamas has taken, with fears over the safety of those kidnapped by the terrorist group.
A counterterrorism expert and former member of the Israeli Defense Force has meanwhile issued a stern warning to ‘work quickly’ to save hostages in Gaza taken by Hamas.
Aaron Cohen spoke to Fox News saying it’s imperative to retrieve those taken before the situation escalates.
‘The longer Israel waits to be able to conduct those hostage rescues in Gaza, the longer the terrorists have to move around those hostages,’ he said.
‘Which makes it more difficult for our Mossad and our Shin Bet security or intelligence agencies to find them.
‘So, Israel has to work very quickly to be able to strike those targets.’
Cohen explained that the ‘longer they wait, the more those hostages are going to get moved around.’
‘The more sick they’re going to get, the more tired they’re going to get and the more the Hamas will be able to continue to build layers in between the Israeli intelligence agencies and those hostages,’ he added.
The former Israeli special operator claimed that Israel is a ‘master’ of hostage rescue which will be advantageous during the retrieval process.
He noted that Israel performed one of the ‘most spectacular’ rescue raids in 1976, when 103 hostages were taken prisoner to Entebbe, Uganda.
The hostages were flown there in a plane hijacked by members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
‘Israel invented or perfected the hostage rescue game and what we’re going to see now is Israel doing what it does best,’ he said.
