Kurt Capewell has welcomed his first child with fiancée, Skye.

The NRL star shared the joyous news to social media on Tuesday alongside a gallery of images.

In the first frame Kurt is seen dressed in scrubs and a bright red hair net as he tenderly smiles at his partner.

Elsewhere in the image, their newborn son is seen wearing a tiny beanie, peacefully resting on his mother’s chest.

NRL mates Herbie Farnworth and Matt Burton were among the first to comment, with Herbie writing, ‘Congratulations ❤️’ and Matt adding, ‘Congrats mate!’

Fellow NRL player Auvae Fono said, ‘Alright!!!! Surely playing for kiwis in 19yrs?’ referencing the future sporting potential of the newborn.
