Now on its third series, the show portrays graduates outdoing each other in the cut-throat world of a City of London bank.
When it debuted in 2020, it was dubbed the ‘filthiest’ programme on TV, with Ms Abela’s character leading the way.
Viewers saw Yasmin in scenes including a lesbian romp, baring her breasts as she takes selfies, and a fully nude scene in the bath.

But it was an approach Ms Abela, 27, was keen to leave behind, according to one source.
An insider said: ‘Marisa really wanted to tone down the nudity in the latest series.
‘She has matured in recent years, and wants to clean up her on-screen image before she breaks it in Hollywood.
‘She is proud of all of her work on Industry, but Marisa was keen for the character to go in a different direction.’

In the final episode, Ms Abela’s character romps with her new lover on a park bench.

Next year the actress will join Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender in spy thriller Black Bag, her first big movie since playing Amy Winehouse in a biopic of the singer’s life.
