It’s Emma Cor-ring! The Crown star prompts speculation of an engagement with Rami Malek after the couple was spotted cycling around London

They have enjoyed a whirlwind romance – and now actors Rami Malek and Emma Corrin have prompted speculation that their relationship is more than freewheeling when they were spotted cycling around London together last week.

Emma, 28, was pictured sporting a ring on the left hand for the first time, a simple, discreet band that has fuelled rumours that The Crown star is to wed 43-year-old Rami.

The pair have only been dating for a year, having been first spotted together last summer at a Bruce Springsteen gig in Hyde Park.

They were soon seen together again looking ‘besotted’ on a dinner date in Margate, Kent, but their relationship was confirmed only in September when they were photographed kissing while on a London walk.

And at the Bafta awards in February, they looked particularly smitten.

Earlier this month they reportedly moved into a £5 million house together in Hampstead, North London.

Bond villain Rami, who won a best actor Oscar for playing Freddie Mercury in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, had previously been in a five-year relationship with British actress Lucy Boynton, who played Mercury’s almost-wife Mary Austin in the film.

They quietly separated in early 2023 after apparently ‘growing apart’.

Perhaps tellingly, US star Rami is set to spend even more time in London. He will play Sophocles’ tragic hero Oedipus in the Old Vic Theatre’s production of the Greek tragedy from January.

Meanwhile, Emma, who played Princess Diana in the Netflix hit, will star in two films released later this year – playing super-villainess Cassandra Nova in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine, and appearing in the gothic horror Nosferatu alongside Willem Dafoe and Nicholas Hoult.
