‘Sam Neill is as brilliant as ever in season 2 of The Twelve.’

‘I am just catching up on the first series in UK and loving it so great that there is a second series coming!’

‘I’ve been impatiently waiting for this to be aired in the UK. Series one was amazing!’

‘Watched the first ep Season 2 tonight and I am hooked again lol.’

Luckily for fans, the full series is now available to stream on ITVX.

Series one of The Twelve tells the story of 12 jurors who, while dealing with their own personal struggles, must decide the case of a woman accused of killing a child.

It stars Sam as barrister Brett Colby, with the Jurassic park star reprising his role for the second series.

The second season, which also features Frances O’Connor, Tasma Walton and Kris McQuade, sees Brett representing a brand new client in another gripping murder trial.

This time around, the case focus around the death of a local landowner and respected town matriarch, with two ex-lovers standing accused of the murder.

Sam recently opened up about the new series, remarking that season two will see  ‘an even stronger story’ than the first, reports Radio Times.

He shared: ‘I think it is an even stronger story than last time, very intriguing indeed. With many twists and turns and surprises. It will keep you guessing until the end.

‘It is very relatable. Sometimes very dark, sometimes funny. But always compelling. Great characters, terrific performances. And you simply can’t stop watching.’x

It comes after Sam gave fans an update on his heath last month after being diagnosed with stage-three blood cancer.

The Jurassic Park star says he feels ‘great to be alive’ after undergoing gruelling treatment while filming his series The Twelve in 2022.

‘It just meant that every second week it was a case of forget about the weekend because that would be a bit grim,’ he told the Herald Sun.

‘But other than that, it’s great to be alive and working and in beautiful places, like York.’
