Ivanka Trump read up on the news this morning as she headed to work in an SUV with her head buried in a newspaper.
The first daughter, 36, left around 7:30 this morning at the back of her Secret Service vehicle. While she is often seen walking from her house in the upscale neighborhood of Kalorama to her parked car, this morning she chose to leave straight from her garage.
Also this morning, Ivanka wished Olympians good luck in a video she shared on her Instagram Story, telling Team USA to ‘bring home the gold’.

Her father was the one who asked her to attend the event, along with the US Olympic Committee, a White House official told CNN.
Vice President Mike Pence, meanwhile, led the US delegation during the opening ceremony on Friday.

Jared stuck to his usual work outfit, donning a black suit and matching tie along with a white shirt.
Ivanka and Jared do not always leave for work together; most mornings, Jared leaves about an hour earlier than his wife, and each of them gets driven to work in a different Secret Service vehicle.
The first daughter was seen later on Thursday morning during the National Prayer Breakfast, and was photographed mingling with other attendees before the arrival of her father, President Donald Trump.
Jared and Ivanka’s joint departure came the day after Ivanka headed to work in an all-dark outfit, donning eye-catching sunglasses.
The first daughter left for work a little before 9am on Wednesday, wrapped in a navy Max Mara coat, which retails for $5,242, and a dark turtleneck.
Her large shades added a retro touch to her elegant ensemble, which Ivanka finished off with five-inch black stilettos and a matching bag slung over her shoulder.
The White House adviser wore her long hair down and went for minimal make-up as well as discreet earrings, giving her ensemble an air of low-key chic.
While temperatures in D.C. were in the thirties that morning, Ivanka opted to brave the cold with bare legs.
She kept her eyes trained in front of herself as she walked to the parked Secret Service vehicle waiting for her.

She appeared to be wearing a combination of burgundy and black, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail.
Ivanka and Jared were pictured on Sunday boarding the presidential plane at Palm Beach International Airport after sunset, with Ivanka wearing a black and white off-the-shoulders dress at the close of their weekend stay.
They were then seen carrying their children out of Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after returning from their getaway in Palm Beach, with their little ones having apparently dozed off during the flight.

Ivanka shared the photo of the moment on Instagram Saturday, writing: ‘Joseph watching Grandpa deplane Air Force One.’
The photo sees the little boy leaning on a chair at the edge of the plane with his little face pressed up against the window.
