Tottenham claimed a 4-3 victory in the second match of their pre-season tour of Asia thanks, in part, to an almighty scolding from their manager Ange Postecoglou.
The Premier League outfit were given the hairdryer treatment in full view of the watching public during a drinks break as their clash with a K-League XI remained goalless after 25 minutes.
Postecoglou named a strong side including Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson and new signing Archie Gray for the match at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
And the Australian was enraged by what he had seen from his players in the early exchanges. The 58-year-old, who has fostered a somewhat of a cult following among football fans for his straight-talking no-nonsense interview, held nothing back when reprimanding the squad.
‘I’ve got one f***ing thing to say. We go and have a crack, man for man.’ He bellowed to the players stood taking on water in the sweltering heat.

His fiery message was clearly heard by the team as they quickly raced to a three-goal advantage before the break, every man no doubt conscious of the encore that awaited in the dressing room had they not shown their dominance over their opponents.
A brace from Son and another from Kulusevski made the north Londoners comfortable but the result was ultimately a lot closer than Postecoglou would have expected, given their supremacy at the interval.
K-League’s finest grabbed two goals back in two minutes through Stanislav Iljutcenko before young striker Will Lankshear restored an element of comfort.
Unfortunately, a third goal goal for the home side in the 81st minute, that was scored by Brazilian Oberdan, ensured there would be a nervy conclusion to the contest.
Regardless of the way the victory was achieved, it did see Spurs clinch their fourth win in as many pre-season games this summer.

Next up is a double-header against Bayern Munich, with the first clash taking place on August 3.
A return leg of sorts follows a week later at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where they could face their former star and all-time leading scorer Harry Kane for the first time since his departure last summer.
