J-awesome! Boy, 14, who can open his mouth 3.6 inches wide will leave you gaping

A 14-year-old boy has won the record title for the largest mouth gape with his lips opening to a staggering 3.6 inches wide. 

Isaac Johnson, who is from Bloomington, Minnesota, can fit whole drinks bottles, tennis balls and the most marshmallows inside when he opens wide.

Home footage reveals that the teenager ‘always knew’ he had a bigger mouth but it was only until 2016 or 17 that he realzed it exceeded the norm. 

Isaac’s friends enjoy winding him up and constantly ask him to pull the gaping expression. 

The teenager realized the potential after having a flick through his brother’s 2016 edition of the Guinness World Records.

One of the winners had a ‘number four’ jaw similarly to Isaac’s mouth.  

Isaac’s mouth was three centimeters off at the time and ‘eventually grew over time’.

The video then shows the confident teenager smirking as he takes on the challenge of fitting an apple, satsuma orange to ‘demonstrate how large my mouth it’.  

He is interested in finding out how much food he can fit in his mouth.

Isaac said: ‘I feel pretty dazzled’.

He spoke warmly about the Guinness Records as he has lived a childhood fantasy grown since he ‘read all the books as a kid’.

‘Actually being in it seems unreal.

‘I don’t know what the future holds but if I could attempt a record, I’m really good at the chubby bunny game.’

‘Issac: *accidentally eats dentist.’

Jg said: ‘The weirder thing is that he is gonna grow and the gape will increase.’ 

Meanwhile others suggest he looks like a ‘real life Titan’.
