Sources said last year: ‘This year I’m a Celeb… wants to go back to its roots by signing up more cult favourites from the past and current, newsworthy personnel.
‘The last series got a ribbing for having so many reality show stars and giving them lots of camera time. Despite them providing most entertainment, bosses are keen to lure more credible campmates.’
Jack’s signing comes after it was claimed Gemma Collins appeared to hint at a dramatic return to the long-running ITV endurance show on Monday. Sharing a snap of her Louis Vuitton suitcase and luggage bag, she wrote: ‘Always on the move.’

‘The update gave fans cause to ponder her potential destination, with many speculating on a second stint in the purpose built jungle camp – but not everyone was happy with the idea of Gemma’s return.
‘Hope this isn’t I’m a Celeb hints,’ wrote one. ‘She’ll drop out as everyone will vote for her to do trials because they know she can’t handle it. Would be a complete waste of a space in the line up.’
Another added: ‘get ready for tv gold if she goes back on I’m a celeb (sic).’

Bad times: Her previous stint in the Australian jungle lasted just 72-hours before she bid a hasty farewell to her campmates and flew back to the United Kingdom
Should Gemma return to the jungle, her stay may well be a difficult one following a slew of severe weather warnings that could wreak havoc in camp.
The much-loved reality series has been confirmed by ITV to return this month on November 19, but the celebrities taking part could find themselves in less than ideal conditions due to 170mph tropical cyclones hitting Australia.
It’s claimed show bosses are hoping the camp isn’t destroyed by the extreme weather and are concerned the series start date may have to be pushed back as a result.
Trouble ahead? I’m A Celebrity could be thrown into yet more chaos, following a slew of severe weather warnings that could wreak havoc in camp
According to Daily Star, forecasters have predicted the onset of ‘major storms’ around the same time I’m A Celebrity is due to return with yet another series.
A spokesperson from AccuWeather told the publication: ‘An early start to the season is expected with a named cyclone forming before the end of December.’
Such weather could put the camp at risk of a ‘washout’. MailOnline has contacted a representative for ITV.

The latest weather warnings come as much speculation has already been centred around this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
Rumours have been rife that Ant McPartlin wouldn’t be returning to host this year’s series, following his rehab stay earlier this year.
But broadcasters ITV have released a snippet teaser for the show – which returns to screens later this month – featuring both Ant AND his co-host Declan Donnelly’s voices screaming ‘Let’s get ready to jungle!’
This is a nod to the duo’s 1995 hit Let’s Get Ready To Rumble – which hit the charts during their short-lived pop career.
The video sees a serene jungle landscape, suddenly interrupted by the sounds of the boys calling out the slogan, before flashing up the show’s social media details.

The actor is said to be close to signing a deal, while sources have claimed Georgia is being dubbed as this year’s ‘jungle bikini babe’.
