On Wednesday’s episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson opened up about a drugged-up incident from her past, as the team were discussing embarrassing behaviour when on painkillers and sleeping pills.
‘I was in my twenties living in an apartment… I had these Stilnox sleeping pills and they say whatever you do don’t take them with alcohol. Well, I did,’ the 48-year-old said before laughing at herself.
‘I had a couple of red wines and a Stilnox and I don’t know what happened, I just went to bed and all was good… then I woke up in the middle of the night and thought “I’m going to bake muffins”.’
Jackie then went on to say that she was ‘clearly not with it’ as she whipped up the muffin mix and put it in the oven to bake, before falling asleep again on the lounge.
‘The next thing I knew there were firemen all around me and smoke all in the house. They actually knocked the door down, all the neighbours were woken up in the apartment complex,’ said Jackie, as the rest of the studio burst into laughter.

It comes just a day after Jackie’s co-host Kyle Sandilands sensationally walked out of the studio after only 11 minutes on air.
The radio star, 52, angrily left the studio after clashing with co-host Jackie while discussing Covid-19 live on air.
The argument sparked when Kyle revealed NSW Premier Chris Minns had cancelled his appearance in the studio after testing positive to the virus.
Jackie admitted that she’d mixed sleeping pills with alcohol, which led to her apartment catching fire after she groggily attempted to bake muffins in the middle of the night
Kyle grew irritated when Jackie downplayed the seriousness of Covid, describing it as being ‘just like the flu’.
He told Jackie she would probably still isolate if she had the virus as she had been extremely cautious in the past, which led Jackie to shoot back, ‘I’m allowed to change my opinion’.
Kyle then argued that she should have some ‘consistency’ in her opinions about the virus, before abruptly declaring he was going home and leaving the studio.
‘The next thing I knew there were firemen all around me and smoke all in the house. They actually knocked the door down,’ said Jackie, as the rest of the studio burst into laughter
‘Well that escalated quickly,’ a stunned Jackie said after Kyle’s exit.
Executive producer Pedro Vitola then confirmed Kyle had gone home.
Jackie continued: ‘What’s happening today? I’m telling you this full moon, it messes with people.’
She later revealed Kyle had apologised to her for the outburst and blamed it on medication he was taking to deal with a rotator cuff injury.
