Jackie ‘O’ Henderson did not hold back on Tuesday when she slammed Chris Hemsworth’s claim that the Australian accent ‘isn’t sexy’.
Furiosa stars Chris, 40, and Anya Taylor-Joy, 28, appeared on LADBible TV where American-born Anya revealed she found the Aussie accent very attractive.
‘I disagree, I hate the Australian accent, it’s definitely not a sexy one. “How you goin’, babe?” Urgh, nature’s most powerful aphrodisiac, the Australian accent,’ a sarcastic Chris said.
Hemsworth’s bold claim caught the attention of Jackie, 49, who told her KIIS FM co-star Kyle Sandilands, 52, she wholeheartedly disagreed with Chris.
‘Chris is not a fan of the Australian accent. No wonder he ended up marrying a Spanish wife, Elsa Pataky. I disagree completely,’ Jackie said.

Meanwhile, Kyle took issue with Chris’ imitation of a stereotypical Australian ‘bogan’, and claimed it did not accurately reflect how Aussies spoke.
‘When he sounds like he should be down at Social Security cashing a check, that’s not sexy.’
Kyle added many people from other countries loved the Australian accent, so he didn’t understand where Chris’ criticisms were coming from.

‘Everyone else loves the Australian accent. You travel the world and people are like, “Wow, you are Australian!” They love it,’ Kyle said.
He joked that the ‘Crocodile Dundee’ accent was particularly attractive to people from other countries and Jackie agreed.

The Golden Globe winner confessed she’s been catching up on Married At First Sight Australia after a friend recommended it.
‘It’s intense, man. It’s a vibe,’ she said.
