KIIS FM radio announcer Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has had her fair share of scares on the The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
But in a segment on Tuesday’s program, the 45-year-old revealed she received a real fright after finding a random lump pop up behind her ear towards her neck.
Speaking to guest Dr KIIS, (real name is Dr. Sam Hay), Jackie recalled the moment she contacted the medical professional during the festive season.
‘I woke up with a lump’: Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed she received a real fright after finding a random lump pop up behind her ear towards her neck
‘Remember over the Christmas holidays I texted you… I woke up with a lump behind my ear,’ she explained.
Jackie O praised Dr. Hay for his quick and helpful bedside manners.
‘I didn’t want to bother him with anything willy-nilly, but he did say what it was and get back to him the next day [if I was still concerned],’ she said.
Luckily though ‘it went away and never came back’, according to the blonde radio star.

Meanwhile, co-host Kyle Sandliands, 49, said he had worried that Jackie could have had ‘brain cancer’.
However, he soon went on to poke fun at her and asked ‘who just wakes up’ with a giant lump on their neck.
In response, Dr. Hay explained it is something he sees with patients all the time. ‘We’ve got lymph nodes all around our head’ sitting in behind the ear is really common,’ he said.

In January, Jackie revealed she broke a rib and suffered a minor head injury after falling over while playing outside with her daughter Kitty over the Christmas holidays.
The radio presenter fell to the ground while trying to skateboard and was later taken to hospital after experiencing severe dizziness.
Jackie said her 10-year-old daughter was so worried she tried to call an ambulance herself.
Poor Jackie! In January, Jackie revealed she broke a rib and suffered a minor head injury after falling over while playing outside with her daughter Kitty over the Christmas holidays
‘She was skateboarding outside and we have stone on the floor,’ Jackie said.
‘I was watching her and she’s really good at it… She says to me, “Why don’t you have a try? Just try mum, I’ll hold your hand and drag you along.”‘
Jackie lost her balance shortly after Kitty let go of the skateboard.
‘Just as we get to the end where there’s the glass fence, she lets go because she thinks, “You’ve got this now,”‘ Jackie explained.
‘As she lets go, I lose my balance completely… I land on my back rib and then on my head. I tipped backwards.
‘I think I really went flying and I hit it so hard I was winded for about 45 seconds and I couldn’t talk to her. It wasn’t bleeding but it was a bad hit.’
Kitty tried to call an ambulance by dialing 911, which she thought was the right number after watching U.S. TV shows. She was redirected to a Triple Zero operator.
Kitty hung up when her mother told her she was okay.
But the next day, Jackie got out of bed and almost fell over because she was feeling so dizzy. She then went to hospital as a precaution.
‘I had to wait three hours,’ she said. ‘That’s when I knew I didn’t have a serious injury.’
Jackie shares custody of Kitty with her ex-husband Lee Henderson. The pair announced their split in October 2018, after 18 years together.
