A couple was killed on Valentine’s Day when their luxury sports car crashed and car crashed along I-95 in New Jersey.
James Fusaro, 26, and Christina McNamara, 25, from Jackson, New Jersey died in the 11:14pm wreck that caught fire, according to State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez.
Fusaro’s Facebook revealed that the two were engaged in 2016, reports NJ.com.
He had been driving a 2017 McLaren 570S when it went off the right side of the road and hit an embankment near the ramps of exit 22.

The almost $200,000 car, overturned, and caught fire, Goez stated.
Fusaro was thrown from the car immediately, as he was not wearing a seat belt. McNamara was stuck inside the car and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 26-year-old owned vaping company Liquid Labs based in Lakewood, New Jersey.

‘They were a great couple,’ said Josh La Torre, a friend to the duo who did marketing for the company.
‘It’s a hard day. … for somebody who was so young to have the kind of success he had owning his own business at such a young age is impressive.’
La Torre shared that he had known Fusaro for nearly five years. He had lived in New Jersey, up until 2016, before moving to Denver.

He detailed how he and Fusaro had just spent time at a vaping related convention in Las Vegas, last week, and spoke on the phone about a possible business venture.
‘He was a very different than the typical kid in his age group,’ La Torre said of his friend, who was vocal of his support of President Donald Trump.
‘He started a business that was very successful. That’s really hard to do in a field that’s so saturated, and at 26 that’s almost unheard of.’
The crash is still being investigated.
