The source claimed that King and Devermont split up at the ‘beginning of fall.’

The insider added that King previously ‘filmed a movie and he was there for that, but then, in the summer, she filmed two movies away and he didn’t go. She was away from him for three months, and then it just kind of wasn’t there anymore.’

The actress and her estranged husband Kyle Newman, 45, began dating after they met on the set of the 2005 film Fanboys, which he directed and in which she appeared.
The two remained together for two years before the filmmaker proposed in 2007, and they married that same year.
King later welcomed two children with the director who were born in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
The pair remained together for five more years before the actress filed for a divorce from Newman last year.
She was notably granted a protective restraining order from her spouse, as per court records obtained by People.

A source previously spoke to Us Weekly in February and offered the media outlet an update about the pair’s co-parenting situation.
The insider said that the two share ‘custody of the kids for now’ and that they ‘won’t know the final agreement until the divorce is finalized.’
However, another source spoke to the media outlet and suggested that the former couple had largely mended their differences with their kids in mind.
‘Kyle’s No. 1 commitment is the health and well-being of his children and a positive coparenting relationship with Jaime. The temporary restraining order was dropped in June. Kyle and Jaime have been amicably coparenting ever since,’ they said.
