But Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu enjoyed the company of one another in a more relaxed setting on Wednesday.
The actor, 40, was spotted enjoying a leisurely outing with his stunning French model girlfriend, 25, in New York.

In contrast to the velvet suit he wore on Tuesday night, the Donnie Darko actor kept it casual with a loose white T-shirt which showed off his buff biceps, baggy grey jeans, and a pair of sneakers.
He tucked a smart pair of sunglasses into the neckline of his shirt and brandished a protective black face mask over his handsome complexion.
Jeanne looked every inch the stylish twentysomething with her oversized button down sweater, cropped jeans, and Adidas slides.
She dressed up the look with a few trendy touches, including gold hoop earrings and matching chain necklace.

The couple also appeared to get some shopping down as they were also seen toting around white paper bags.

Jake and his girlfriend made their red carpet debut attending the premiere of Maggie’s directorial debut The Lost Daughter on Tuesday.
The lovebirds were first spotted walking together in Paris in December 2018 and that following year they were photographed together in New York City.
In August 2019, Jeanne was seen supporting the actor at the opening of his play which garnered the nomination, and marked his third role on Broadway.

That same month a Page Six insider reported that she had met Jake’s family and that they had taken a vacation to Martha’s Vineyard.
A month prior, in July 2019, he had said on Sunday TODAY that he desired to start a family eventually. ‘I do hope to be a father one day,’ he told host Willie Geist.
Though he has enjoyed previously high profile relationships with the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon and Taylor Swift he had spoken about the importance of keeping his personal life underwraps.
‘I consider intimacy to be very important and I don’t think everybody needs to know about my family or my personal details,’ he told The Guardian in 2017.
‘I think when you’re in a relationship, you are constantly scrutinized…I would love to not talk about my personal life.’
