YouTuber Jake Paul has been named the third-highest paid boxer in the past twelve months, with only Anthony Joshua and Canelo Alvarez earning more than the internet star.
The 24-year-old fought twice from June 2020 to May 2021, in which he took just six and a half minutes to sensationally knock out former NBA star Nate Robinson and former UFC fighter Ben Askren.
According to sporting finance aggregator Sportico, Paul raked in more than £14million from those two bouts, as well as endorsements earned outside the ring.

That figure sees him ranked as the third-highest earning boxer in that time frame. Heavyweight champion Joshua, who fought Kubrat Pulev in front of 1,000 fans in December, was the second-highest earner.
Meanwhile, Mexican superstar Canelo tops the list of boxing stars after reportedly raking in £44.5million, and also makes the top 100 earning sport stars.
The unified super middleweight champion fought three times from June 2020 to May 2021, beating Callum Smith, Avni Yildrim and Billy Joe Saunders.

Despite aggravating much of the boxing and MMA communities, Paul is making waves in combat sport, and has recently signed a multiple-fight deal with Showtime Boxing to broadcast his forthcoming bouts.
The 24-year-old responded to the news of his mega-earnings, tweeting: ‘Oh we just getting warmed up.’
Paul’s one-round KO victory over Askren reportedly sold over 1.5m pay-per-views, which equates to the 10th-biggest PPV in boxing’s history.
The Ohio-born star also featured as the co-main event for Mike Tyson v Roy Jones Jr last year, where he knocked out Robinson in just two rounds.
Paul’s victory over Askren has seen a whole host of stars call out the YouTuber for a clash in the ring, ranging from UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman to Love Island star Tommy Fury.
The 24-year-old also has a longstanding rivalry with Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis, who fights with Bellator. The MMA organisation is also broadcast on Showtime, giving a slight indication of who Paul could fight next.
Paul has fought four times in the ring. He beat fellow YouTube stars Deji and AnEsonGib before taking on Robinson and Askren.
He also clashed with Floyd Mayweather at a press conference for the boxing great’s fight with Paul’s elder brother, Logan, in Miami.
That figure is only bettered by heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Canelo Alvarez
