Jake Paul offers Dustin Poirier a $100k gift after his UFC 264 win over Conor McGregor

‘RIP Conor McGregor’s career’: Logan Paul tears into ‘plummeting star’, while brother Jake drops his offer to fight the Irishman to just $23 and says he’ll hand victor Dustin Poirier a $100,000 gift for his UFC 264 win

Jake Paul has offered Dustin Poirier a $100,000 gift to congratulate The Diamond following his victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 264, as the YouTuber joined a host of stars to take aim at the Irishman.

McGregor, 32, vowed to avenge his Fight Island defeat by Poirier this weekend in Las Vegas, with the lightweight rivals tied at a win apiece over each other.

However, the Irishman suffered a defeat in bizarre circumstances after breaking his leg following a dominant round for Poirier, who was declared winner by TKO via doctor’s stoppage.

McGregor’s latest setback is his third defeat in four UFC fights, and his rivals were quick to take to social media to taunt the former two-weight world champion.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, Floyd Mayweather and Justin Gaethje all basked in the Irishman’s disastrous night at the office, and YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has piled in by offering Poirier an expensive gift for his victory.

‘Aye @DustinPoirier want me to ship this to you? $100k gift from me I think you deserve it lmk [let me know]’.

The gift is a $100,000 diamond-encrusted necklace of McGregor hunched over after his loss to Poirier on Fight Island.

Paul showed off his new purchase ahead of the fight, sharing a video on his Instagram, in which he said:  ‘All right, check it. My new $100,000 Nyquil McGregor, Sleepy McGregor chain. Thank you Benny Da Jeweller Let’s go.’

He continued: ‘Don’t go sleepy, sleepy.

‘Good night, McGregor. F**k you, b***h.’

Paul, who is set to fight MMA legend Tyron Woodley on August 29, has repeatedly called out McGregor, offering him $50million for a boxing fight prior to his January defeat to Poirier.

Now, after McGregor fell to successive defeats for the first time in his career, Paul jeeringly reduced the offer to just $23.

Meanwhile, Paul’s brother Logan, who in June went the full eight rounds in an exhibition fight with Mayweather, also took aim at McGregor, insisting the Irishman’s career is now over.

He said: ‘Damn. crazy to see a star with such a meteoric rise literally plummet into the ground just a few years later. It’s sad tbh. RIP Conor McGregor’s career.’
