James Gandolfini’s apartment hits market for $7.5million

The luxurious West Village residence of late actor James Gandolfini hit the market for $7.5million. 

Gandolfini died in 2013 aged 51 after suffering a heart attack while on vacation with his family in Italy. The beloved actor was most known for his legendary portrayal of mob boss Tony Soprano on HBO’s popular series ‘The Sopranos’. 

The spacious 3,300-square-foot abode located on 99 Jane St. comes complete with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. 

The master bathroom features an over-sized Jacuzzi, separate shower and professionally fitted closet area.

Gandolfini lived in the sprawling loft with his then-wife, Marcy Wudarski Gandolfini, who is the mother to his son Michael. 

The former couple spent several years creating this space together from two separate units they combined.  

They first purchased one unit for $850,000 in 1999 before successfully buying a second unit they bought for just over $1million.

The loft is now being sold via Julie Rupprecht of The Corcoran Group who told The New York Post : 'This is where Jim raised his son. He was a wonderful, kind person who took the time for everyone. Gandolfini is pictured above in 2013

The two spaces were combined together before they ended their marriage in 2002. 

According to public records, a title in 2003 for apartments 2G and 2H were transferred from him to Marcy. 

The loft is now being sold via Julie Rupprecht of The Corcoran Group who told The New York Post: ‘This is where Jim raised his son. He was a wonderful, kind person who took the time for everyone.

‘It’s a quiet building in the heart of the West Village, but not far from the Meatpacking District, on a quiet, tree-lined street.’
