His girlfriend was spotted wearing a $6,700 rose gold ring by Bulgari during a recent trip to Capri, Italy.
And now James Packer has broken his silence on rumours he secretly proposed to socialite Kylie Lim on his multimillion dollar superyacht.
In his first public comment on the speculation, the 51-year-old businessman told The Sydney Morning Herald that he and Kylie weren’t engaged – yet.

‘There’s nothing to announce,’ James told the Private Sydney gossip column. ‘I give you my word I will tell you if there is something.’
Previously, the only statement about Kylie’s mysterious new ring was attributed to an unnamed spokesperson for the casino mogul.
‘Alas, they’re not engaged, well, at least not for now,’ the representative told The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

If James does propose, it will be his fourth engagement.
He has previously been engaged to Kate Fischer (now known as Tziporah Malkah), Jodhi Meares, Erica Baxter and Mariah Carey.

He eventually married Jodhi Meares in 1999, before they separated in 2002. He then wed Erica Baxter in June 2007, but they split in 2013 after having three children together.
Following his split from Mariah Carey in 2016, James confessed he was in a ‘bad, bad way’ and Kylie helped pull him through.
‘Kylie is a good person, a really good partner, and we are taking things slowly, one day at a time,’ James told his biographer Damon Kitney last year.
