‘However, that dream is suddenly derailed when the cheeky yet secretly grieving football star, Drayton (Beck), crashes into her life with a unique story of his own,’ the description continues.

‘Will the two of them be able to grow into their dreams together or will their dreams be sidelined?’ the description concludes.

Van Der Beek will portray a character named Leroy Lahey, described as Drayton’s, ‘tough but well-meaning father.’

Leroy is said to set, ‘high expectations for his son both on and off the football field, pushing him to strive for excellence while struggling to express his own grief and vulnerability.’

Cox will play the role of Miss Alicia, ‘the owner of a small-town dance studio that has seen better days.’

‘She recognizes Dallas is a technically skilled dancer with the potential to be extraordinary. However, she worries that Dallas’s dancing lacks the soul and spontaneity necessary for acceptance into a prestigious dance school,’ according to the report.

Foy plays Mr. Justin Douglas, described as, ‘an easy-going teacher who develops a romantic interest with Nathan (Tanner).’

The film is directed by Justin Wu (Reginald the Vampire) from a script by Mary Gulino (Upload) and Crystal Ferreiro (Diary of a Future President).
