Carragher celebrated wildly with Liverpool fans when Virgil van Dijk scored a late winner
After the match the 39-year-old continued the celebrations with fans long into the night
Of course, Carragher wrote this with tongue firmly lodged in cheek, as he had marked his full Liverpool debut with a goal at the Kop end against Aston Villa in 1997.
Carragher continued the celebrations long in to the night as Jurgen Klopp’s men marched through to the FA Cup fourth round.
He posted several videos on his Instagram story singing along with fellow Liverpool fans to music being performed by a live band in the bar.
However, despite all the celebrations, Liverpool’s victory was somewhat overshadowed by Mason Holgate’s racial allegation of Roberto Firmino.
The Everton defender pushed the Brazilian over the advertising board and into the stands when the pair where chasing for the ball during the first half.
Firmino instantly retaliated, confronting Holgate and exchanging verbals with him before referee Bobby Madley separated them.
Madley will include the full details in his report of the row to the Football Association with the governing body set to investigate the allegation further.
