The comedy show follows an African-American comedian who tries to make it in the entertainment business with out losing his true identity.
The TV series features a lot of young talent, such as Jay Pharoah, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Jacob Ming-Trent, Lonnie Chavis, and Meagan Good.

Jamie also was involved in directing the new comedy show, alongside director Tim Story.
Jamie told Deadline: ‘I came up from standup comedy, so to be able to share that aspect of my life on screen with a project like White Famous is incredibly exciting.’

The show was written by Tom Kapinos, who is the creator of Showtimes Californication, which had a total of seven season.
White Famous will be released on Showtime October 25.
