Jamie Kah: Hunt is on for WhatsApp leaker of white powder video

The inside story of superstar jockey Jamie Kahn’s night out before she was filmed racking up lines of white powder – as party guests hunt down the person who leaked the footage on WhatsApp

Upset and furious racing insiders are trying to locate the woman who allegedly leaked a video of champion jockey Jamie Kah racking up lines of white powder.

On Friday, video footage of the 27-year-old dividing a mound of a white substance was shared widely on WhatsApp.

The Herald Sun reports that the incident took place last Saturday night, after Kah returned home from a date night with boyfriend and fellow jockey Ben Melham, who had returned to his own home.

The pair had enjoyed a quiet dinner with jockeys Ethan Brown and Celine Gaudry at Mornington seafood hotspot The Rocks.

Kah went back to her Somerville home, located around 15 minutes from the restaurant, where she found Biddell and ‘a starstruck female friend’, who is also involved in racing.

Insiders are searching for the leaker of a video showing Jamie Kah racking up lines of a white substance

She slipped on the grey robe that she is seen wearing in a selfie taken of the trio, as well as in the video showing a white substance being divided with a plastic card.

While the video does not show either Kah or Biddell’s faces, it confirms their identities through the clothing that they are wearing – which matches up with the selfie taken before.

However, Kah was not aware that she was being filmed and did not consent to the video being taken. Now, insiders are trying to locate the filmer and leaker of the video.

A source told the Herald Sun: ‘Jamie needs to find some new mates’.

In a statement published on Saturday, Kah said: ‘I am determined to focus on my health and recovery following my race fall in March which left me with a serious brain injury and being in hospital for three weeks.

‘I am working hard to get back to what I love, and that is being a passionate and successful jockey.’

‘I will continue to focus on my physical and mental health and making a full recovery so that I can return to racing and be the best person that I can possibly be.

‘I won’t be making any further comment.’

Biddell also released a short statement asking for ‘privacy’.

It is understood that racing stewards will conduct an investigation once Saturday’s racing at Caulfield is concluded.
