Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo spilled the beans on their baby plans after the presenter revealed she ‘hated’ him when they first met.

Sparking up on the set of Made In Chelsea Jamie, 36, and his beloved wife, 30, didn’t like each other very much at first sight.

But now, the pair – who tied the knot in April 2023 – have been more loved-up than ever and got candid about their future plans on building a family during a chat with The Times.

‘I was really scared about kids,’ Jamie explained.

‘It’s something you can’t control. Sophie would then carry a baby, all these different things that I can’t control and, “Oh God, what happens if this happen or that happens?” But I saw a clip on Instagram where someone said, “The best thing I ever had is being called Dad.”

‘I was like, “Oh, wouldn’t that be cool?” So now I’m so down for it. I would like to have loads.’

Jamie added he would be up for four kids, and the former actress agreed with him sweetly. 

Discussing their first encounter on set of the Channel 4’s series, Jamie claimed Sophie ‘hated him’. 

‘Jamie was this very big character on Made in Chelsea, and it’s like a school,’ she explained.

‘I was almost like the lower year. I was a newbie. So at first I thought, ‘This guy is a bit intimidating and a bit full of himself.’  

It comes after Jamie has jetted off on a luxury sun-soaked holiday with his wife following his brutal Ultra Marathon last week.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter spent five days running from London to Salford and crossed the finish line last week, raising a whopping £2,053,835 for Comic Relief.

Now Jamie, who has well and truly earned a getaway, shared a series of Instagram snaps on Thursday as he headed to the beach at an unknown location.  

The TV personality was seen walking along the beach to a series of sun loungers wearing a pair of pink swimming shorts which he teamed with an oversized white T-shirt.

Speaking about their baby plans, Jamie said: ‘So now I’m so down for it. I would like to have loads,’ adding they would be up for four kids (pictured in March)

He later shared a stunning snap of wife Sophie beaming as the pair arrived for a lavish dinner on the beach. 

Sophie showed off her amazing figure in an off the shoulder white crochet jumpsuit and kept comfortable in a pair of sandals. 

Jamie simply penned: ‘My [world emoji, red heart emoji]’

Sophie also shared a sweet selfie of the couple riding a golf cart. 

It comes days after Jamie treated fans to yet another foot picture as he took to Instagram with an update on his injuries following his brutal 150mile Ultra Marathon challenge.

After sharing a swollen snap of his feet over the weekend, luckily Jamie is now on the road to recovery as he reported to his 1.5million followers that the swelling of his feet is slowly going down.
