Jamie Lee Curtis admits Lindsay Lohan was on ‘mom mode’ while on Freakier Friday set: ‘It’s very hard to pull her away’

Jaime Lee Curtis admitted that Lindsay Lohan was full ‘mom mode’ on the set of Freakier Friday.

The actress, 65 — who was recently spotted filming the hotly anticipated sequel — gave an inside scoop to People about filming and reuniting with her on-screen daughter, on Saturday.

‘The whole thing was fun, just from all areas of it,’ she told the outlet of working with the 38-year-old.

This comes a year after Lohan welcomed her first child, son Luai, in July 2023 husband Bader Shammas.

Curtis said Lohan was ‘always’ in ‘mom mode,’ admitting, ‘she just loves it. It’s actually very hard to pull her away from mom mode.’

Although the fiery haired actress never brought her son to set during filming, Curtis shared that Shammas would ‘pick her up from work almost every day.’

‘Bader and Luai came and [would wait] for her in her trailer, and then they all go home together,’ she gushed.

While at Disney’s D23 fan event to promote the film in August, the pair were asked who they would like to switch bodies with, like in their hit film, and Lohan said her baby.

‘Maybe my baby,’ Lohan responded. ‘Just to see — because he is, so pure and just so happy, just to see life through his eyes, every day. He’s just this beautiful bundle of joy. I can’t think of anything else.’

And Curtis said she’d like to live as WNBA star Caitlin Clark, saying, ‘I wanna play basketball like Caitlin Clark. She’s my lucky number, 22.’

In 2021, Lohan announced via social media she was engaged to Shammas after three years of dating. She wrote on Instagram saying, ‘My love. My life. My family. My future.’

The couple tied the knot on April 3, 2022 and jetted on a lavish honeymoon in Turkey alongside the financier.

Less than a year later on March 14, 2023, at around five months pregnant, the actress shared she was expecting.
