Jamie Lee Curtis, Jodie Foster, Jennifer Grey celebrate opening of Dear Jane’s restaurant

Hollywood turned up in full force for the opening of Dear Jane’s restaurant in Marina del Rey, California on Tuesday night. 

Jamie Lee Curtis, Jodie Foster, Sharon Stone and Dirty Dancing icon Jennifer Grey were among the A-List stars that dressed up for the glitzy event, which encouraged a 70s-inspired dress code. 

Double Oscar-winner Jodie, 59, looked stunning in an abstract-patterned gown and headscarf, as she arrived with her wife, photographer Alexandra Hedison, in a very rare appearance for the Silence of the Lambs star.

Meanwhile, Halloween legend Jamie Lee, 63, was on-hand to greet patrons as they arrived at the establishment, as she is pals with the team behind the new hotspot. 

In fact, when guests call to make a reservation, they will hear the voice of the A Fish Called Wanda star – who attended the bash with her husband Christopher Guest – providing information. 

Jamie Lee is friends with Patti Röckenwagner, who along with partner and husband Hans Röckenwagner and Josiah Citrin of Melisse, are opening up the new restaurant to the public on September 15.

Also present was Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone, who stood out in a vibrant, gold-studded trouser suit. 

Sharon, 62, later posted about the event on her Instagram writing: ‘Feeling it at a 70s party for @dearjanesla fabulous new restaurant in the Marina.’

The 70s theme was picked to commemorate the heyday of the location which features 180-degree marina views and a sun-filled dining room, designed and hand-built by one of the owners Hans Röckenwagner.

It includes a buzzy dark lounge that was remodeled after the bar at sibling restaurant Dear John’s in Culver City, where Jamie Lee Curtis is also known to frequent.

On the night, the menu included oysters freshly shucked by roving shuckers, bougie sticks (homemade fish sticks topped with caviar), wagyu beef pigs in a blanket, tableside Shrimp Louie, and Jane’s version of filet of fish.

The seafood spot is housed in the space previously occupied by the Chart House restaurant.
