Jana Kramer says ex Mike Caussin has been harboring resentment amid their separation

She is in the midst of divorcing her husband Mike Caussin.

But Jana Kramer has revealed her ex has been harboring resentment towards her amid their split.

‘It’s definitely hard and it’s one of those things where sometimes, like, the process with us has been really challenging because there is that betrayal,’ Jana, 37, said on her podcast Whine Down. ‘He has so much resentment and I’m like, “Wait a minute, you’re the one who hurt me. How are you being mean to me? This doesn’t add up to me.”‘

Speaking with guest Dorinda Medley, she said: ‘Help me understand that because I’m just losing my mind.

‘There’s a million mean things I can say to [Mike] but I’m choosing to be kind and walking through this.’

Jana announced in April that she and Mike had decided to part ways following a five-year marriage, and in her divorce filing said his  ‘inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery’ had led to the parting.

Mike, a football tight end who has confessed to cheating on Jana with multiple women, won a victory in the divorce in May.

He was awarded $3,200 in monthly child support in spite of the fact that Jana retains primary custody of their children Jolie, five, and Jace, two.  

‘It doesn’t make sense to me either but I would rather be at peace,’ Jana tweeted after his triumph. ‘In the end I’ll make it back because karma always comes around.’ 

Court documents value Jana’s monthly income at $166,000 and Mike’s at $8,000 which influenced the payment decision.

Mike will get the children for 125 days a year and they will live with Jana for the remaining 240, TMZ reported citing court documents.

Although he will not be getting any continuous alimony out of Kramer he will receive a lump sum of $592,400, People reported in late May. 

Last month the songstress revealed she had sold off all the jewelry Mike had given her, including the ring he used to re-propose to her with. 

‘It’s the second ring I’ve had to get rid of from him. The first ring, I was like, “I will never put this back on my hand,” Jana said on her podcast.
