Janet Jackson showed off her natural beauty as she wowed her followers when she went from a bare-face to full glam in a viral new TikTok video. 

The 56-year-old popstar, from Indiana, took to the video streaming site to share a makeup transformation video. 

In the beginning of the clip, which racked up over 3.8 million views, the star was seen wearing an oversized t-shirt, glasses and a grey headband while rapper Latto’s song Big Energy played in the background. 

Janet then held a makeup brush to the camera before pulling it away to reveal herself with a full face of makeup, flaunting a stunning smokey eye, nude lip, and glamorous contour.

Her over-one-million TikTok followers loved the star’s transformation – and a fellow-popstar even shared her thoughts. 

Mariah Carey wrote: ‘Love you!’ in the comment section, while other fans called the star a ‘legend’ and ‘iconic.’ 

The singer has stepped out of the spotlight since welcoming her son, Eissa, five, in January of 2017 with her now-ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana. 

In June of 2022, the singer spoke to Essence about her experience as a mother and opened up about why she decided to take a step back from the glitz and glam of Hollywood. 

‘Even though it’s something that I absolutely love, it still is my work, my job,’ she explained.

The star noted that she tries not to focus on how wildly famous she is or the recognition she has gained, adding that she doesn’t think about ‘that stuff.’ 

‘It’s really the body of music touching people and how it impacts their lives that matters to me. It’s not the accolades,’ she said.

‘When it comes to my personal life, I think mistaking my kindness for weakness.

‘When it comes to my professional life, I would say it would have to be not liking to hear the word ”no.” 

‘Especially being a woman, and someone telling you, ”No, you can’t because…”
