A very modern love square: Carlton legend Jaryd Cachia moved on from his estranged wife Sophie with AFLW star Harriet Cordner – now his ex is dating a woman and they’re all mates
Last year, retired Carlton great Jaryd Cachia confirmed he’d split with his wife Sophie.
Sophie is now in a relationship with women’s basketball star Maddie Garrick, while Jaryd debuted his new romance with WAFL player Harriet Cordner at the W Awards in Melbourne on Tuesday night.
And it appears there’s no hard feelings between the quartet, with Sophie even sharing a tribute to Jaryd and Harriet’s red carpet debut on her Instagram.

Harriet, 28, shared several loved-up photos with Jaryd, 29, on Instagram throughout the night.
And Sophie happily re-posted the photos on her own Instagram stories, tagging her ex and his new love and adding a heart icon.
Jaryd and Sophie even temporarily lived together after their split, in order to ease their children Bobby, six, and Florence, three into a new co-parenting arrangement.

Jaryd, Sophie, Harriet and Maddie are all friends and were recently spotted on a group date with their respective partners and Bobby and Florence.
It turns out Harriet and Sophie have been friends for some time and even featured on each other’s Instagram during a pub outing in 2019.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Jaryd, Sophie and Harriet for comment.
In a candid interview with the No Filter podcast in July 2020, Sophie explained the status of her relationship with Jaryd, which ended before she began dating women.
‘I had a beautiful man in my life, I still do. He’s an incredible father and an incredible friend to me but why can’t women seek more?’ she said.

‘That married life I realised wasn’t what I wanted. And it wasn’t that I realised “oh I like women now, I’m going to leave my marriage”, it wasn’t that. I realised I wanted more.’
Sophie briefly dated Matilda’s star Alanna Kennedy after meeting through work in 2019.
‘She was overseas for the first five to six months. We didn’t dive straight into a relationship but we definitely connected straight away,’ she said.
The couple amicably split in early 2020 and Sophie is now in a happy relationship with Maddie.
