Jason and Travis Kelce reveal Adam Sandler will be their special guest for New Heights season premiere: ‘Legend’

The Kelce brothers have announced that Hollywood superstar Adam Sandler will be the highly-anticipated special guest on their New Heights season three premiere on Wednesday.

Just weeks after it was announced that Travis will be featuring in Sandler’s upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 movie, the pair have linked up once more – this time for one of the former’s projects.

In a teaser clip posted to social media, Jason and Travis were seen looking delighted when Sandler joined the call – seemingly after some technical issues.

In the video – filmed before Sandler himself arrived – the brothers discuss The Sandman’s best movies, being starstruck at meeting him, and which of his characters they would most like to be.

When Sandler does eventually make it onto the call, all three parties can be heard screaming ‘YESSSS’ in celebration, before the actor says: ‘We did it!’

He then reveals: ‘Yeah boys! I’m so happy to see you guys… talked about ya all day long to all my friends.’

It was revealed earlier this week that Kelce ‘talks to Sandler every week’ about their upcoming movie partnership on Happy Gilmore 2.

The pair reportedly struck a deal while out for dinner, with Kelce describing the comedy actor as his ‘idol’.

Earlier this year it was revealed that Kelce has ambitions to become a household name of similar stature to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, with his PR team mapping out a calculated plan to make him a Hollywood star.

In a recent episode of his and brother Jason’s New Heights podcast, Kelce spoke about his desire to appear in the sequel as a huge fan of the first movie – in which Sandler’s fictional hockey-player character becomes an unexpected superstar after crossing over to golf.

‘Man, I didn’t even know there was a job opening. I’ll be a f***ing extra, anything to get around Happy Gilmore, an Adam Sandler film or set – count me in.

‘I’ll do anything in the movie. I’ll be part of it any way I possibly can.’

Kelce was also pictured wearing a Happy Gilmore cap at Coachella this year when he attended the music festival alongside girlfriend Taylor Swift.
