Jason Bateman wows fans with clean-shaven new look after finally trimming long hair and overgrown beard

His bizarre, bushy-haired look has been turning heads this past year.

But Jason Bateman is now officially back to his beard-free ways.

Bateman, 55, publicly debuted his shortened locks as he attended the Broadway opening McNeal in New York City on Monday.

Long gone were the nearly shoulder-length locks that messily hung from his head and unmissable overgrown beard that got people buzzing.

Instead, the actor was looking smart and sharp as he attended the opening of Robert Downey Jr.’s new show.

It’s unknown when exactly Jason decided to cut his hair, but he was already sporting a bit of stubble across his chin and cheeks.

It’s certainly a far cry from the appearance Jason had been working this past year.

Jason’s new look was likely for his role in the new mini series he has been filming with Jude Law, Black Rabbit, with the actor being seen on the set of the show with his bushy countenance.

According to the official synopsis: ‘When the owner of a New York City hotspot, Jake Friedken (Jude) allows his chaotic brother Vince (Bateman) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.’

The actor appears to have been rocking the look since as early as January, when he was seen watching the USC Trojans and Stanford Cardinals game.

A few months later, fans weighed in on the look as Jason watched the New York Knicks take on the Philadelphia 76ers alongside Justin Theroux.

‘Jason Bateman has always had amazing hair and he still does and I am HERE for it,’ one user wrote.

Another user took the Ozark star’s long hair as a call for help and wrote: ‘Knicks fandom finally killed Jason Bateman.’

‘If it turns out Jason Bateman is the second coming of Christ, I may just have to rethink this whole atheism thing,’ a third fan joked.

‘Jason Bateman looking like Kurt Russell from The Thing,’ another suggested.
