Jason Kelce ’embarrassed’ he watched Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight after boxing legend’s sad defeat

Jason Kelce admits he is ’embarrassed’ that he tuned in for the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight – and can pinpoint the exact moment he knew the boxing icon would lose.

Tyson looked every bit of his 58 years against Paul, 27, last Friday in Arlington, Texas, where the YouTuber-turned-fighter cruised to a routine points victory.

It proved a sad contest at AT&T Stadium as the former undisputed heavyweight champion staggered around the ring and failed to get close to his younger opponent throughout, leaving fans fuming and even sparking claims it was ‘rigged’.

On the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Kelce and brother Travis were discussing the fight when the latter brought up a hilarious pre-fight interview with Tyson on Netflix that ended with a shot of his bare butt in the locker room.

‘My s*** got froze literally on Mike Tyson’s cheeks,’ Travis said about his Netflix stream on the night, before later adding: ‘I immediately sent that to f****ng everyone. That was the funniest s*** ever.’

Jason then responded: ‘I was not watching at this point, (but) I’m kind of embarrassed that I watched this to begin with. I should have known better but I couldn’t help myself.

Jason joked that he knew 'Iron' Mike was a beaten man when he saw this image of his bare butt

Jason joked that he knew ‘Iron’ Mike was a beaten man when he saw this image of his bare butt

‘I will say though, the moment I saw that clip on social media… I didn’t think Mike was gonna win before, but I knew when I saw those cheeks he wasn’t going to win.

‘You lose your glutes you lose your game. He’s got an old-man a** in that photo.’

The former Philadelphia Eagles center added: ‘He could still whoop my a**, but to face a legitimate person that trains in boxing is a whole other thing.

‘I just love Mike Tyson so much I couldn’t help but watch it. But I knew what I was going into before it even happened, and I still couldn’t help myself.’

After going the distance with a vulnerable Tyson, Paul revealed that he went easy on the fighting great in the ring and decided not to go for the jugular out of respect.

‘Shout out to Jake Paul for not knocking out Mike,’ Jason continued.

Travis then replied: ‘The Mike Tyson that we know, if he was in Jake Paul’s position he would have f****ng KO’d that guy into a coma.’

Before Jason concluded: ‘Well that’s why Jake Paul’s not Mike Tyson.’
