Jason Whitlock suggests Shannon Sharpe intentionally streamed himself having sex on Instagram live to shutdown gay rumors and bait viewers

In the heat of Shannon Sharpe’s sex scandal, Jason Whitlock suggested that the First Take host streamed that controversial Instagram Live feed to bait viewers.

On Wednesday, social media exploded when Sharpe’s Instagram account went live on Instagram while the NFL Hall of Famer could be heard having sex with a woman he calls ‘Michelle’.

While Sharpe addressed the situation on Nightcap that evening and admitted to his faults, Whitlock suggested Sharpe plotted the ‘accident’ for views.

‘He’s a master at baiting,’ Whitlock said. ‘Late night, he goes on Nightcap and confesses and reels in 185, 190, 200 thousand live viewers over YouTube – that’s a massive number.

‘And so people have instantly gone to [say]: ‘Was this leaked intentionally for publicity? ‘Was this leaked intentionally to fight the rumors that Shannon Sharpe is gay? Those rumors have been around for quite some time.’

During the highly-viewed Nightcap stream, Sharpe said that he tossed his phone in the bed and had no idea it had started a live stream of the ceiling as Sharpe and the woman engaged in sexual activity.

While Sharpe noted his struggles with technology, co-host Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson pointed out how starting a live stream requires several steps and would rarely happen by accident.

Later on Nightcap, Sharpe noted how his assistant took the initiative of claiming his boss’ account got hacked. That slide was later taken down as Sharpe owned up to the incident.

As for the rumors about his sexuality, Sharpe revealed receiving a call from comedian Kat Williams, who quipped about him being with ‘Michelle’ and not ‘Michael’.

After noting how comics made plenty of material from the rumors surrounding Sharpe, Whitlock went further by suggesting Sharpe fed into the industry’s standards by joining the ‘sex cult’.

‘I wanna turn more serious as it relates to this topic and connect it to everything I’ve been talking about and saying on this show,’ Whitlock said. ‘The entertainment industry, the music industry, the television industry, the movie industry – has all been rigged in a way that promotes sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, transgenderism, just sexual fluidity. ‘

‘If you wanna be part of the club, you have to join the sex cult that’s driving the club, That’s giving out the multimillion contracts.’
