Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were spotted doing a quiet custody handover Saturday in Los Angeles.
Taylor, 45, drove to his estranged wife’s house in his black SUV to pickup son Cruz, three, whom he shares with his fellow The Valley star, 35.
The newly-single Cartwright, who filed for divorce from Taylor in late August and is seeking primary custody of the toddler, looked calm as she walked the boy to his dad’s waiting car outside her home.
The reality star kept her look casual, wearing a pair of blue athleisure pants and a bright pink camisole.
Her long, highlighted hair was pulled back into a high ponytail and she appeared to be makeup free behind her glasses.

Young Cruz looked adorable in a khaki green T-shirt, gray shorts and sneakers.
Taylor was seen lifting up the boy to give him a hug before putting him in the car.
The Jax’s Studio City owner looked relaxed in a white hoodie with gray joggers and white sneakers. He wore a white billed hat over his dark curls.
Cartwright filed for divorce from Taylor last month after five years of marriage.
Brittany requested primary legal and physical custody over the child as well as that her ex receive visitation rights.
Taylor, who was diagnosed with bipolar syndrome and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder while in rehab, has been trying to put his life back together.
The former couple are also sharing custody of their podcast When Reality Hits, and on Taylor’s week to host, he opened up about his diagnoses.
‘I’ve been this person for years and I had no idea. I was never held accountable for my actions for many, many years until recently — until people have had enough.’
The former SUR bartender said that people – including his wife whom he admitted he took for granted – were ‘tired of walking on eggshells’ around him.
‘Brittany has been asking me to do something like this for a very long time and I just come from a background where we just really don’t ask for help,’ he explained, adding that she had been begging him to do something about his anger issues for years.
Cartwright, 36, filed for divorce in late August. She is seeking primary custody of her and Taylor’s son, with the Jax’s Studio City owner, 45, having visitation with the boy

While he was in the treatment facility, he spent seven hours a day in intensive therapy, which made him nervous to leave and go back out into the real life and his life again.
Taylor also admitted he thought he might be a narcissist as well. ‘I am a narcissist, yes,’ he continued.
‘I breadcrumb, I love bomb [and also] gaslighting. I’m missing some but I do all these things. I had no idea there were terms for these things.
‘I am not a doctor, so I can’t say that for sure,’ he added. ‘But by just looking up the definition, I have to agree.’
