Jax Taylor and estranged wife Brittany Cartwright are keeping things amicable amid their divorce.
On Wednesday the 45-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum took to Instagram to share that his 35-year-old ex — who just unveiled her secret cosmetic procedure — shared a home-cooked meal with him, even though they are living apart.
After promoting his partnership with meal prep company Factor, the reality television personality noted that he ‘will always squeeze in a home-cooked meal when I am offered one.’
Sharing a photo of what appeared to be a pan of baked ziti set on a stove, he added, ‘Thanks Brittany,’ with a blushing smiley face.
It comes shortly after Cartwright filed for full custody of their three-year-old son Cruz.

Brittany filed for divorce from Jax on August 27 and requested primary legal and physical custody of Cruz.
Taylor, who recently revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, later said her filing was the ‘right decision for their family.’
‘I understand why she did [it],’ he admitted on his When Reality Hits podcast. ‘I’ll always love and care for Brittany. She’s the mother of my beautiful son.’
He added that they ‘hopefully [will become] really, really good friends one day.’
Jax has been getting comfortable in his new bachelor pad and documenting the process online.
In a post shared with his 1.3 million followers earlier this month, he said, ‘It will take some time for my new place to feel like a home but it will get there. One hour at a time, one day at a time.’
Another set of images featuring the TV star inside his digs noted that he’s in his ‘home decor era’ as he set up fixtures from Canadian brand RENWIL.
And although he is building a life as a single man following his separation, he shared a video in his Instagram Stories that showed him retrieving Brittany’s Halloween decorations from storage.

‘Well, it’s September. You know what that means, right?’ he rhetorically asked his audience.
The father-of-one continued lightheartedly, ‘It’s time to get Brittany’s Halloween decorations out. It never ends.’
Jax also recently revealed he had ‘no idea’ he was a narcissist until his month-long stay at a mental health facility.
He spoke candidly about his treatment as he recorded his podcast, where he took questions from listeners.
When asked if he thought he ia a ‘textbook narcissist,’ the entrepreneur replied, ‘I am a narcissist, yes.’
He listed, ‘I breadcrumb, I lovebomb, gaslighting. I’m missing some but I do all these things. I had no idea there were terms for these things.’
