Jenna and Barbara Bush wear corresponding colors twice

Jenna Bush Hager and her fraternal twin sister Barbara Bush have spent the past month on a book tour together — and the two sisters are starting to copy each other’s outfits.

For their appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, Jenna donned a forest green off-the-shoulder top and matching pants, while Barbara opted for an eye-catching strapless dress the color of red poppies.

The ensembles couldn’t be more different, but on Thursday the 35-year-old sisters switched up their looks, with Jenna rocking a bright red dress and Barbara modeling the subdued shade of green to the Miami Book Fair.

The sisters have been on the road promoting their new memoir, Sisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life, for nearly a month now.

The two are as close as can be, so it’s not too shocking that they are starting to mimic each other’s styles.

It’s been a busy week for the Bush twins, who spent Tuesday chatting with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

Jenna wowed in her monochromatic green ensemble, which she paired with silver pumps featuring Lucite heels.

Meanwhile, Barbara opted for strappy nude stilettos when accessorizing her simple, yet elegant dress.

‘We’ve been on this book tour which has been so fun,’ Jenna told The Tonight Show host. ‘The first hotel we checked into they were like, “Okay we have your rooms Miss Bush [and] Mrs. Hager, and I was like, “Oh no, no no. We just need one key. We’ll be staying together.”‘

When asked what inspired them to write their book, Jenna recalled how she and Barbara shared a bed together the night of the 2016 election because her husband, Henry Hager, was out of town.

‘We realized how lucky we are to have each other, that women need to start, or to continue, to have each other’s backs,’ she said.

Added touches: Jennas form-fitting dress featured a ruffled hem, while Barbara cinched her dress with a green crocodile skin  belt

‘My sissy has always been that person for me, and if we celebrated sisterhood in whatever form it comes in, whether it’s a blood sister or a friend or colleague…then maybe we could get to a place where we feel a little bit better about the state of women.’

A few days later, the sisters were in Florida to promote their book at the Miami Book Fair on Thursday evening.

Taking a cue from each other, Jenna opted for a form-fitting red dress featuring a ruffled hem and Barbara donned a green sheath with a green crocodile skin belt cinched at the waste.

Barbara stuck with her nude stilettos that she wore the other night, while Jenna switched things up with a pair of classic nude pumps.

Although Jenna and Barbara looked calm, cool, and collected on stage, they feared they were going to be late for the event.

The two sisters actually took to the streets to run to the venue to beat traffic.

‘Traffic isn’t stopping us. Not tonight,’ Jenna captioned the Instagram Stories footage of her sister speed walking ahead of her.

At one point, Barbara broke out into a run, and Jenna later admitted that her sister was tempted to jay walk when they got stuck at a red light.

‘We just walked the Miami Book Festival. Now we are actually going to be early,’ Barbara said.
